This book was written from a position neither fully "inside" nor fully "outside" any single system. One current: rational, academically high-achieving, Catholic schooling, twenty-two years in multinational corporations, almost no fellow Buddhists in sight. The other: spiritual, rooted in Nusantara Dharmic traditions, intensive contemplative practice, pilgrimage to sacred sites.
The vantage point between these two currents — belonging fully to neither — is the actual intellectual source of Buddhist KTP.
The deepest thread connecting 22 years in insurance, now psychology, and this book is a single question in two registers: what counts as legitimate, who gets to decide, and what it costs when the wrong grammar is applied to someone else's reality.
